Maria Sicco, O.D.

Dr. Maria Sicco received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Nova Southeastern University in 2014 and her Doctorate from Southern College of Optometry. 

Dr. Sicco has worn glasses since she was four years old and thought it to be an interesting field that would allow for good patient-doctor rapport and interaction and a good work-life balance. “Once I truly discovered all that Optometry had to offer, it became even more appealing and gratifying.”

Her favorite part about being an optometrist is the patient interaction and assistance. She enjoys being able to identify and manage conditions of the eye, which many times relate to systemic conditions as well.
